Wow! I am still pinching myself that in two days time the brand new set of Ready Eddie Go! books are out!!
The articles are coming, requests for copies and so much support too, it’s overwhelming but just so lovely! To think this all began with navigating our own autism journey. From the challenges and the beautiful moments to writing my son his first book to learn about his diagnosis then to Eddie’s very own TV show on Sky Kids ‘Ready Eddie Go!’ Can I believe that? No 🤣. The feedback from parents has been so overwhelming for the whole team, from parents and carers. Eddie has supported children in so many areas and even sent parents on their own healing journey. To be honest I can relate to that, this journey has been amazing for me too.
The character I created my son is going from strength to strength and I am so proud! Eddie is continuing through the show and now matching workbooks to help children’s in new situations and environments at their own pace, not forgetting the authentic representation on books and on screen.
My youngest son was diagnosed autistic along this wonderful journey too and they are both just so so proud of Eddie! My youngest took a book to show his headteacher and it was so heartwarming we tried not to tear up! 💜
New update blog coming to explain the huge gap on here why I’ve been sooooo busy.
